Precision Electric has the capacity and the experience to repair any type of
electric motor from fractional to thousands of horsepower. The only limitation is set by lifting capacity.
Our clear span overhead crane will lift 10 tons of weight. Our testing equipment will allow for a full
voltage test to be performed on any equipment that operates to 7000 volts. A full range adjustment of
our test voltage allows your equipment to be operated at the exact voltage it will operate within your
plant.
Repair machine work is performed on motors, shafts, rolls, fans, blowers and bases. Lathe work
is performed to a maximum of 56" diameter by 22' inch length. Other services include wire and tig welding, housing repair,
spray welding, and shaft straightening.
Precision Electric performs welding of similar and dissimilar metals. These services include
wire, tig and spray welding.
Precision Electric performs dynamic balancing services both in the shop and on the field.
All rotating equipment received for repair takes a trip through the balancer. Regardless if the service is performed
in the shop or in the field; fans, blowers, rolls, grinders, mills and rotors are dynamically balanced to specifications
exceeding that of the OEMs specifications.
Precision Electric performs repair on all types of blowers and fans. Because of our expertise
in rotating equipment, welding and fabrication, machine shop services and dynamic balancing repairs are easily
performed.
Precision Electric repairs pumps of all types including water, acid, and hydraulic.
Impeller tolerances are restored, seal surfaces repaired, bearings, seals or packing replaced to make
pumps perform like new.
