After review, your RGA number and instructions will be faxed or emailed back to you. The RGA number cancels automatically if the product is not returned to us in 90 days. You must return the product in its original packaging and with the RGA number clearly marked on the shipping label. If these requirements are not met we reserve the right to refuse the shipment. Product should be returned in proper packaging with the RRA number clearly marked on the shipping label. If these requirements are not met, Lenze Americas reserves the right to refuse shipment.

Applicable Fees:

  • All items returned will be assessed an evaluation fee if there is no problem found or if the item is deemed un-repairable. The evaluation fees vary based on the product. The customer is responsible for payment of this evaluation fee, if the product is returned back to the customer. The evaluation fee is waived if the customer chooses to scrap the item.

Return for Repair Authorization,RRA Procedure

  1. To ensure an efficient receiving and repair process, a return authorization is required. Repair returns
    could be refused and/or delayed without an approved return authorization (RRA) number.
  2. To obtain a RRA number, please complete the above form
  3. Please complete one request form for each item being returned.
  4. Once a RRA number has been assigned, the customer will receive an email or fax, which will
    include the RRA number and a shipping label for your convenience.
  5. Please return merchandise freight pre-paid with the approved RRA number clearly visible on the outside shipping box (label provided preferred). Please note: If the RRA number is not clearly visible on the outside of the box, this may delay processing your repair.
  6. All collect shipments will be refused upon receipt, unless prior approval and arrangements have been made.
  7. Please ensure returned merchandise is sufficiently packaged to avoid possible damage. The customer is responsible for all merchandise not packaged properly, and would need to initiate all claims directly through the freight carrier.
  8. The customer is responsible for all undelivered packages to Lenze Americas.
  9. RRA numbers are valid for 90 days.

Repair Return Authorization, RRA Policy:

  1. Items returned for repair, which are covered under warranty, will be repaired and returned to the ship to address that is specified on the original RRA request form.
  2. All warranty repairs will be returned freight prepaid. The shipping method will be determined by the method the item was shipped to Lenze Americas. (Some exceptions do
    apply). Example: If the item was received via next day delivery, it will be returned via next day delivery, unless otherwise specified.
  3. The customer is responsible for return freight on all non-warranty repairs.
  4. All items returned will be assessed an evaluation fee if there is no problem found or if the item is deemed un-repairable. The evaluation fees vary based on the product. The customer is responsible for payment of this evaluation fee, if the product is returned back to the customer. The evaluation fee is waived if the customer chooses to scrap the item.
  5. All non-warranty repair quotes must be returned within two weeks of issue.
  6. Only complete motors, complete gearboxes, or complete gearmotor assemblies are eligible for repair services.
