Description

The FCNA-01 ControlNet adapter module enables the connection of the drive to a ControlNet network. ControlNet is a scheduled communication network designed for cyclic data exchange. With the FCNA-01 adapter module, the ControlNet network may employ either the ODVA AC/DC drive profile or the ABB Drives profile. Both are converted to the native profile (eg, DCU or FBA) by the adapter module. In addition, two Transparent modes – for 16-bit and 32-bit words respectively – are available. With the Transparent modes, no data conversion takes place.
