Lenze servo motors are designed for all applications requiring precision and dynamic performance. Lenze servo motors have been designed to communicate with Lenze servo drives.

The Lenze servo motor and servo drive combination results in precise motion control systems. Depending on the application and torque requirements, Lenze servo motors provide both asynchronous and synchronous motors.

MCS Features

Lenze MCS series servo motors rated torque range is 0.5 to 190 Nm; with power ratings from 0.25 kW through 15.8 kW. Lenze MCS servo motors are mainly used in applications that require high dynamic performance with minimal application space. The MCS stator winding is made up of individual coils using Single Element Pole Technology (SEpT). Lenze MCS servo motors are user friendly when combined with Lenze 9400 servo drives, and commissioning is “plug and play”, since the controller comes supplied with corresponding motor parameters.

High-Quality magnetic materials and specially developed pole forms in the MCS make for excellent servo drive technology.Lenze MCS servo motors are designed with reinforced bearings to protect the encapsulated stator and to increase reliability in harsh ambient conditions.Lenze MCS servo motors feature high overload capacity and large angular accelerations.

Lenze MCS servo motors can be quickly mounted and easily serviced because of their unique plug connections. The Lenze MCS servo motors come with a secondary loose nameplate and an electronic nameplate for ease of commissioning.

Lenze MCS servo motors can use either a resolver as feedback, incremental encoder or an absolute value encoder. Other features of the Lenze MCS include a hold brake option, natural or forced ventilation system, and IP65 enclosure (IP54 forced).
